KAMPALA: A team from mysociety.org paid a courtesy call on the Chief Justice, Hon. Justice Bart M. Katureebe, at his Judiciary Headquarters chambers in Kampala.

The team later met with Hon. Justice Fredrick Egonda-Ntende, one of the founders of both ULII and AfticanLII and also a member of the ICT/Law Reporting Committee.

Hon. Justice Egonda-Ntende said without ULII, the void in legal circles would be so wide.

He further reiterated the concern for ULII to have autonomy to be able to develop relationships that would help the LII be able to render the best service.

The team were taken to Makerere University Law School as well as the Law Development Centre to interview faculty and students as end users of ULII.

The team had a video conference with Hon. Justice Geoffrey Kiryabwire, the Chairperson of the ICT/Law Reporting Committee as well.
